cara ovverclock komputer

Cara overclock pada intinya adalah mengatur frekwensi processor ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi pada nilai default processor. kecepatan processor default adalah hasil perkalian multiplier dan FSB (Front Side Bus). jadi bila processor asli adalah 2,8 GHz maka angka tersebut merupakan hasil dari perkalian 7 x 400 MHz (7 multiplier dan 400 MHz FSB). kita dapat merubah FSB menjadi 420 MHz sehingga kecepatan menjadi 7 x 420 MHz atau 2,9 GHz. untuk melakukan hal ini silahkan masuk ke BIOS lalu cari menu yang mengatur frekwensi. Biasanya bernama Frequency/voltage control. Secara perlahan naikkan kecepatan (sekitar 5 MHz) lalu uji kestabilan dengan program SiSoft Sandra, SuperPi, atau 3D Mark. bila sistem tidak hang, maka naikkan lagi 5 MHz dan begitu sampai sistem tidak stabil. perlu diketahui bahwa tidak semua motherboard menyediakan menu untuk merubah frekwensi. yang paling lengkap adalah yang menyediakan pengubahan frekwensi dan juga voltase, memory dan chipset. Pebrikan seperti ASUS, MSi, Gigabyte, Abit atau DFi biasanya memiliki bios yang cukup luas untuk melakukan overclock. perlu diingat bahwa penambahan frekwensi processor akan menambah suhu panas pada sistem, apalagi kalau kita menambah Voltase. disarankan jangan memakai kipas pendingin standard bawaan processor.
